The Metastatic Analysis of Choledochal Cyst

Abstract
Recurrent disease after curative surgery for colorectal cancer is a well-knowen problem.
The main problem is how to detect the recurrence early enough to perform a curative reoperation, especially hepatic metastasis.
This retrospective study has been performed on 170 patients with colorectal cancer which has been treated from Jan. 1985 to Dec. 1989 at the Department of surgery, Chonnam University School of Medicine.
@ES The results were as follows;
@EN In 39 recurred patients, local recurrences were major recurrence pattern and there were no differences in recurrence rate of rectal sugery. Between Miles' operation and low anterior resection.
The stage IV was the higher incidence(66.7%) in recurrence rate than other stages.
The recurrence patterns by histologic type were no differences in colorectal cancer and the interval to recurrence was within 5 years in all cases from first operation.
